About US
Our Story
The Wholehearted Project began in 2022 as an outpouring of the shepherding ministry of writer and teacher Chrystie Cole. After decades of helping women in the church walk through brokenness, Chrystie recognized a need for intentional shepherding focused on the healing and hope found in Scripture. Like restoring broken pottery, Jesus has come to mend our fragmented hearts, piece by piece. Through gospel-rich resources and ministry coaching, The Wholehearted Project brings flourishing to fractured lives by helping women strip off the sin, shame, and suffering that entangles them and find freedom in the restorative work of Jesus Christ.
WholeHearted Project
Pillars of Wholeness
We seek to bridge the gap between what the Bible says and our everyday lives. We equip women to engage meaningfully with Scripture, drawing hope and practical guidance for their journey.
We equip women to explore their personal stories with honesty, vulnerability, and courage as they begin to find hope, healing, and freedom in Christ on this side of eternity.
We help women encounter Jesus, the heart of every Wholehearted resource. We want them to intimately know the Savior as their Good Shepherd, Great Mender, Faithful Friend, and Sufficient Savior.
We believe in Christ's transformative power to mend hurts and make us whole. We guide women on a path of healing, leading them to shalom, the restored and renewed life he offers to us.
Chrystie Cole, WHP Founder
Chrystie Cole brings two decades of ministry experience and her own story of brokenness and redemption to her work as a writer and Bible teacher. Chrystie authored Redeeming Sexuality, A Woman’s Words, and Body Matters studies, and co-wrote Shame: Finding Freedom with her friend, Ruthie Delk. She is the founder of The Wholehearted Project, where she coaches ministry leaders and creates resources to help believers engage their stories with curiosity and kindness, encounter Jesus as the compassionate Savior who skillfully mends all that is broken, and experience hope, healing, and freedom.
